Data Deletion Policy
At Sofiety, we respect your right to privacy and comply with the General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR). If you wish to delete your personal data, you have two options:
1. In-App Data Deletion
You can delete your data directly through the Sofiety app by following these steps:
- Open the Sofiety app on your device.
- Tap on the Main Menu icon.
- Select Delete Account.
- Choose one of the following options:
- Delete All My Comments: Removes all comments you've made
within the app.
- Delete My Score: Resets your score to zero.
- Delete Entire Account: Permanently deletes your account and
all associated data.
- Confirm your selection by typing DELETE when prompted.

2. Email Request
If you prefer, you can request data deletion by sending an email from the address
associated with your Sofiety account to delete_request@sofiety.com.
Please include the following information:
- Your full name.
- The specific data you wish to delete (e.g., comments, score, entire account).
- A statement asserting your right to request data deletion under GDPR Article 17.
We will process your request and confirm the deletion within one month, as required by
GDPR.
Important Considerations
Please note:
- Deleting your entire account is irreversible. Once completed, all your data will be
permanently removed.
- For security reasons, we may require additional verification before processing your
deletion request.
- Some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
